W ith their seventh-place finish at nation-
als in January 2UOO, the new dance
team had a high expectation to live up to.

The squad proved they w ere the best
when named Metro champions.
"Technically we excelled emotionall y we
grew closer, and individually we became
stronger," junior Abbie Cimino said.
After winning Metros the dance team
worked very hard, so it w ould perform well
at nationals and state.
"Nationals was aw esome because w e
bonded together, and our pom dance re-
ceived third. I also enjoyed becoming state
champions again," junior Kyla Bauer said.
