For most students, tests were stressful when they didn 't under-
stand what they were doing , and if th ey had a lot of tests on the same
day .
"I hate to take tests, especia lly essay question s. If you forget to
study , and you don't know what you are doing, it makes it worse," sopho-
more Kyle Linbo said .
Not only were teenage rs tested in school, but some students
took driving tests and college entrance exams.
"For me to get my permit I had to take a driving test. Before I
wen t to the Departme nt of Motor Vehicle s, I had my fri ends tell me what
to study, and I looked at my driver's manual," sophomore Allie Willensky
said .
Although tests were dreaded , MN students usually were high
achieve rs . The school district was ranked number one out of th e 1 0
largest schools in academ ics, in three out of six categor ies: reading, el-
ementary math , and middle school math by the Omaha World Herald.
