                Enjoying the privilege of
having first lunch are fre sh-
                men Ahmed Gandul,
                Daniel Springer, and Zach
                Pollard . "The advantages
                to having lunch the earli-
est is that the cafeteria is
                not as crowded, the lines
                aren't long, and there's lots
                of food," Gandul said.

Brennan goes to her locker for a book for
her next class. "The size of th e upper-

ing the passing periods for the first few

Vaniperen sit in the hall and chat with other

Luke Jacobsen. He went to the Freshmen
Stampede earlier in the year, and he said
th at he was a lillie apprehensive about

Getting his ten cents worth from the copy
machine is freshman Kyle Janda. He and
his partner used it to copy information for
a project. Janda said he found it easier to
work in groups because everything got
done faster. ph oto by A llie Jones
