Starting off a new school
year wasn't always easy, let
alone in a huge, foreign
building with masses of
hormone-driven teenagers with
deep voices and towering
presences.
"I expected there to be a
large amount of people. It
wasn't too bad after a while,"
freshman Duke Trant said.
Some of the new students
claimed that the variety of
student organizations and sports
made it easier to adjust to high
school.
"It's a great chance to talk
to people you might not see
during the day," freshman
Amanda Ludes said.
After the first quarter or so,
the freshmen felt more
comfortable in the high school
environment, and for the most
part, adjusted to the transition
with ease.
