Although too soon to bust out the graduation caps,
seniors shuffled into the halls of MN on the first day of
th eir fourth and fin al year of high school.
"I walked in and got that rush of excitement know-
ing that I was the upperclassmen. My class runs the
school now!" senior Ally Roes said.
The class of 2012 began their reign once the first bell
rang , taking advantage of all the senior privileges, like
shortened class periods, and of course, open campus.
"On the first day I got in my car and drove to Qdoba.
I enjoyed the scenic drive on 144th. It was also great
not being questioned when I got back to school. I was
like 'hey, I'm a senior'," Brad Kutler said .
Though seniors looked forward to th e other advan-
tages that come with the territory, many, like Aly
Szymczak, looked towards the future and the bitter-
sweet journey.
"Senior year will be the best year, but it'll fly by like
everyone says. I'm going miss how I feel in high
school-like anything is possible," Szymczack said .
