At the end of class on Thursday, April 1st.
How much time in class will we have to work?
Every day we have class until the due date. That comes to 8 days total in class (including reading about the project).
How many people in a group?
4 or 5 .
How long do they have to be?
8-10 minutes - no more, no less. Practice a lot to get it consistently that length for when you record it.
How are we graded? How much is this worth?

My pronunciation stinks. What can I do to improve?
Keep practicing! Click here for an excellent way to practice. Especially recommended are topics 1-17, skip 1-5 if you're good with vowels.
What if the other people in my group aren't doing their part?
First of all, pick your groups wisely. Secondly, I cannot overstress the importance of working it out among yourselves. In life, you must resolve conflicts from time to time. If you are absolutely unable to work it out, notify me immediately so groups can be reassigned. Do not wait until it's all over and unload blame on one another. As I said, pick your groups wisely.
Can't I just be graded for the part I do (my segment)?
You will be more strongly graded for the parts that you speak, but that doesn't mean that is the only part you are graded for. What about the title? the concept? the transitions? the feel of the program as consistent and working together? You must work with other members in your group as previously stated, as your grade is linked to theirs.
What do you mean cultural perspective?
You should integrate a Hispanic perspective of health and well-being into the entire podcast. This does not mean just having 1 segment on curanderismo or a traditional folk cure. One example might be focusing on emotional or spiritual causes of physical disease or maladies, such as stress or relationship problems. For a refresher, here's what we read in class.
