Take a second
look at the
Set
T
he scene is the first day of
school when all the students and
faculty come back with the
same enthusiasm as they had before
they left for the summer.
- There were some scared fresh-
men, making a big step from junior
high and even some scared setliors
fearing what would come after high
school.
If anyone said there was not
enough spirit here, it was because they
did not look for it in the right places.
Most of the students prepared for
the club they participated in during the
year. Excitement built as certain
activities got closer such as, the ski
trip, foreign language week, and
newspaper distribution.
Athletes "psyched" themselves up
before every game and had the
determination that aimed for state.
It was hard to explain each of the
characters in this scene because each
one had his own personality. From the
intellect to the athlete, this production
had them all.
The punk fad hit the west coast
years ago, but crashed at MN last year.
Being a new click some "punkers" had
to put up with some criticism. Senior
John Nanos defended himself by
saying, "If we all listened to the same
type of music, the world would be
pretty dull."
