uring the summer a lot of people
tended to lead a lazy life, but as
soon as the MNHS newsletter
arrived in late August it was back to the
student life.
tvery bit of spare time a Millard
North student had was spent on the
move to avoid the drudgery that s~ool
could sometimes cause.
It was a great place to be but people
needed an outside world too, even if it
had a direct link to school. Some school
activities that took place that were not
during the 8:00 to 3:00 hours were
football games, Fall Festival and "West
Side Story."
Things still went on during the
school hours such as spirit week, pep
rallies and making new friends.
With homework and working twenty
hours a week, some students found
themselves in a juggling act of school,
work, friends and family.
Even though they were busy they
still found time to date, see a midnight
movie or check out the party scene.
A lot of time was spent at home if
they could manage to keep their little
brother out of their hair. Many relaxed
with their eyes glued to Music T elevi-
sion.
