                          The other stereotypes were freaks
                      and  cowboys.  The  lifestyles were  not
                      defined by  any set rules or traditions but
                       were just  a  cluster of  happenings .
                          .Seniors and juniors had adjusted to
                       having  modified  and  open  campus
                       privileges and  could  leave durin8.._  their
                      open hours. "I  liked the feeling of having
                       more responsibility," was  the comment
                      of  Senior  Sandy  Germer about  seniors
                       having  more privileges.
                          Many events that happened through
                       the  years at  MN  have become estab-
                       lished as  traditions like  the melodrama
                       and donkey basketball.
                           New  traditions were set this year.
                       The  Student Council  organized a  Fall
                       Festival to help organizations earn some
                       money and have some fun .
                           Because  of  college  entrance
                       demands, students were also  concerned
                       about  their  academic  achievements.
                       They  tried to  raise their grade point
                       averages and  prepared better for  ACT
                       and SAT  tests.
                           No  matter how you looked at it, each
                       event measured the students feelings of
                       pride for  their school.
