According to Freshmen Coach Jeff
Salberg, "The Freshman team had no top
players. They all worked together and
everyone did a great job. One of the
stronger points of the team was the
defensive line although we had a pretty
well-rounded team. "
However, the team had several minor
injuries . One of the more serious was Dean
McDermitt's broken collarbone.
Salber-g added however that "al-
together the team had a pretty successful
year with their 5-2 record."
