Others spent their summer visiting rela-

Still others took advantage of the new and
different places to explore and enjoy. "I did
a lot of shopping and sightseeing when I visit-

Spomer.
Although many enjoyed their vacations
abroad, others found Omaha to be relaxing
place to spend their summer. Junior Rhonda
Miller said, "I just laid around and played soft-
ball a lot."
Everyone had their own reasons for liking
summer. Spomer said, "It gave me a break
from school." "I enjoyed getting away from
I Omaha to visit different places and see new
things," said Junior lisa Ferris.
However, Junior Dawn Furey and Senior
Mike Decker summed up just about everyone's
feelings for summer by saying, "It was a spe-
