From November to February, the soph.
omore and freshman basketball team5
struggled.
The rollercoaster of success and de-
feat left the sophomore team with a record
of six wins and six losses. "We had a lot of
close games," said Coach Tom Mosser .
Behind the statistics, the team mem-
bers kept an optimistic attitude throughout
the season. "We never gave up, that's for
sure," said Sophomore Troy Martin.
Despite the split record, the Mustangs
gained more total points than their oppo-
nents. High scorers for the team were Troy
Martin, Gary Furnas, and T. J. Harris, respec-
tively.
On the other hand, the "A" freshman
squad finished the season with ten wins and
four losses, while the "B" squad ended with
five wins and five losses. Their most impres-
sive accomplishment was a string of five
straight wins including a victory over West-
side.
