What's So  New?

                                                                                       In  the past decade.  the

                                                                                      ing  to.uches  were put on  the
                                                                                      track, as well as the newly reor-
                                                                                      ganized counseling centers
                                                                                      and offices.
                                                                                        All of the changes in  the
                                                                                      school during the eighties
                                                                                      helped push  its  development
                                                                                      forward into the nineties. There
                                                                                      was no time for  looking back.
                                                                                        Personal  growth on the part
                                                                                      of the students was  important
                                                                                      as  well.  Late hours . homework
                                                                                      and decision making were  all  a
                                                                                      part of the picture.
                                                                                        Burning  the candle at both
                                                                                      ends quickened the pace and
                                                                                      developed responsibility as well
                                                                                      as  opportunities. Mistakes hap-
                                                                                      pened.  but there was no time
                                                                                      to dwell on them. They  helped
                                                                                      students to learn and move on.
                                                                                      There  was no time for  looking
                                                                                      back.
                                                                                        The last of the eighties
                                                                                      passed  quickly,  as  the  state.
                                                                                      the  school  and the  students
                                                                                      took a leap forward into a new
                                                                                      year and a  new decade. For

                                           One of the more noticeable  changes
