diplomas to graduating Seniors . (Sheila Pedersen)
Take time to think, It's the source
of power.
Take time to laugh, It's the source
of soul
Take time to dream, It's what the
future is made of
After cramming finals, sharing a
class breakfast. sign ing yearbooks, and
pressing graduation gowns everything
was all ready for the event that 508
graduates had dreamed of.
Now it was their turn to march in
single file. in the Omaha Civic Audito-
rium . to collect their diplomas from the
school board members and Superinten-
dent Ron Witt.
However, there were a few extra
touches like songs prepared by music
students Rebecca Bolam and Nate
Underwood. Graduating music students
joined the chorus with "Class of Many
Faces."
Then it was on to speeches by
Brice Ballard "The Most Important Day",
Kelli Mahoney "Forever Friends", and
BradWendel "AndTheWallsCameTum-
bling Down."
Soon. in a little more than an
hour. the class had officially graduated
and quickly descended to the lower
level to turn in gowns and to collect their
official diplomas.
It was a time of sharing, hugging,
crying, and rejoicing. It was now time to
let go of one piece of life and go on to
yet another chapter in life. As the gradu-
ates departed, they carried with them a
white rose , their caps and tassel , and
memories that would last them a life-
time.
The day that had seemed so far
away had now arrived. It was now time
to take command of ones life!
