Imagine standing up in front of class, knees shaking and
adrenaline rushing, while giving a presentation. However, not
all students got a nervous feeling, especia lly if they presented
their information in their own unique way.
Seniors Tara Verplank and Bryant Moran share their "I enjoy doing interpretations like forensics because you

old boring information," senior Jenny Ploughman said .
Group size influenced the amount of pressure students
felt while presenting their information.
"Standing with others makes me feel more comfortable,
and I don't get butterflies in my stomach. Also, you can do
more stuff to make the presentation better,"
sophomore Kristi Vrtiska said.
Students preferred presentations over tests because they
could express their creativity, and they felt less stress.
"I learn more from presentations than I do studying for
tests. Tests are a bad excuse for staying up all night to cram
information into your brain that you will forget within a few
week's time. When I do a presentation, I research a lot be-
cause I become so interested in it" Vrtiska said.
The real key was getting up the courage to present be-
fore one's peers .
