Eru- Setting high standards helped students study more and pay
attention in class .
In order to do well in school, some teens stayed up at
night cramming for exams and working on the latest project
that was due in class. At times it put a damper on their social
life, but when students had set a goal, they made sure to reach
it.
"When I tell myself that I am going to get good grades
this year, I make sure that I do. I work hard, study for tests, and
do al l of my homework to reach my goal," junior Mike Hinckley
said.
Although there were numerous pressures that went
along with reaching a school goal, achieving it was worth all
the effort that students put into it.
"It's awesome when I get my report card and realize
after all the stress that I went through, that it was well worth
my hard work!" Hinckley said .
