Getting involved in the community was not a new
concept to students. crJo nlinflin s llu f£es·arr of the school,
they participated in volunteer work, held down part-time or
even full-time jobs, and were involved in a number of
various activities.
Junior David Belmont spent most of his free time
working at Clancy's. "My brother worked there and it was
a pretty cool job. So, I decided to give it a try also.
Sometimes I cook and sometimes I bus tables ... it depends."
Other students used up their spare moments by traveling
and attending camps over the summer.
Senior lauren Culler visited Canada to see Niagara Falls .
"It smelled like maple syrup and I was constantly getting
misted on because the Falls were spraying water non-
stop."
Seniors spent their last year at home making the most
out of spending time with their friends.
"I want to see as much of my friends and family as
possible, before I have to go away for college," senior Sam
Viola said.
