and high hopes that their beloved school would overcome and win the match at hand
At all times, a loud students section was required to get the team's spirits high,
even when the going was rough and the outlook was weary. Fortunately, even with
the angst of defeat, the student section was always uplifting and positive, with the
help of the MN cheerleaders.

Not only were these girls given the task to spread "pep", they also were given the
tasks to be artists and trendsetters, in a way. The halls were decorated with signs
by Melissa Epstein created by the team to mock and humor the upcoming opponents. Also, cheerleaders
made sure they were decked out before the games, matching all themes and flaunt-
ing their uniforms.
"During spirit weeks we would dress up in the themes. Also everyone would know it was game
day when we had our uniforms on , we always had to wear them on game days," freshman Anna
Jensen said.
Not only do they supply their voice, but they also do stunts to get the crowd jacked by tumbling
down the sides of the court or football field.
"I like tumbling because it's fun and I don't have to think about what to do, like a cheer routine ,
sophomore Courtney Moreland said. "Also, everyone is always amazed at the tumbling skills
