Pulling in th e driveway after work , sen ior Taylor
Hanson was confused when he saw a brand new 2011
red Camaro parked in the driveway. To hi s surprise, hi s
parents bought it for him to reward hi s excellent grades
and ACT score.
"When I first found out the car was for me, I was
speechless," Hanson said. "I wasn't excpecting to get
such a nice car, and my dream car at that! "

Darien Holman, 1 2
While pumping his gas, senior Darien Holman receives the usual questions the
come along with owning a Smart Car. "What's the gas milage? How do you like d
ing it?" With 40 miles to the gallon, Holman believes it's a joy to drive.
"Since it is so small, it is pretty scary driving on the interstate and highways
because of all of the semis and other trucks," Holman said. "But the amazing gas
milage makes it all worth it."
Having an extremely small interior, Holman and friends had tried to squeeze se
people into this tiny automobile . With five in he back , two in the passenger seat , '
Holman as the driver, they more than suceeded.
"It was extremly squeezed in the car, and we didn't get far until everyone want
out," Holman said. "On the weekends, my friends rather
drive their cars, due to the lack of space in mine."
