Jeff Hanson, Sophomore Bill
Schuler, and Juniors Marc Norfolk lnvit . 4th place
LeFebvre and Dan Yates finished Millard South Dual 87-50
first in Class " A" and second Omaha Metro
overall in State. Also receiving a Conference 5th place
first place in Class " A" was A-2 District 3rd place
Sophomore Tom Fricke in the triple State 9th place
jump and fourth in the long jump.
Sophomore James Blackledge
(second in Class " A" in the high
jump) and he received gold Girls Varsity Track
medals (overall at State). Fricke 3 out of 5 at Kearney Indoor
placed second in the triple jump 4th out of 32 at UNO Indoor
and Blackledge placed third in his Westside Dual (loss) 80-44
event. Burke Dual (loss) 52-32
Other State qualifiers were
Marc LeFebvre, 1600 meter run ; 8 of 14 Ralston Relays
1600 meter relay team, Senior 6 of 8 Fremont Invitational
Troy Erwin , shot put and discus and 4 of 6 Norfolk Invitational
Junior Walt Mertz in discus. Millard South Dual (loss) 64-49
The Girls' qualifiers were Linda 5 of 16 Millard lnvit .
Elsasser in the 1600 meter run 4th of 21 Metro Conference ·~·:fill
