ear diary, I just got
D
home from the variety
show at my school and
boy did I ever enjoy it . I didn't
realize that the people I go to
school with had such talent.
Wow, I saw this wild, new
wave band called the Modern
Day Scenics with Brent Mal-
nack at bass and lead
vocalist; Tony Marchant,
drums; Ron Marchant, lead
guitar; and Thane Flemming,
guitar.
They played a song they
wrote themselves ccilled Fu-
shion of the Nightship T omor-
row.
Even the faculty did some
kind of an act. I thought all
they did was teach.
English teacher and
gymnastics coach, Mark Wil-
liams , did a comedy skit on
how people progress after
joining the gymnastics team. I
had never laughed so hard
before.
Well, I'm going to sleep now :
to dream up something to do
in the show next year.
Singing out at the tryouts, Linda Shick
and Vince Lenz seem to be pleased
with what they are doing.
He can dance . Senior Scott Palermo
has been dancing for a number of
years. and it showed.
