F
rom the day school start-
ed on August 26, until it
was finished on June 3.
there were 287 days. One
hundred and seventy-four of
those days were spent in
school, so the other 113 days
were left for weekends and
vacations.
Most agreed that the best
thing about the weekends
was sleeping in. With the
hassle of getting up to be at
school on time it was nice to
be able to sleep until noon.
A long vacation was a
perfect chance to take a
break and go out of town.
whether it was to visit rela-
tives, ski or whatever.
Probably the- favorite
weekend past-time was going
to parties. They may have
been with people seen at
school; however. the environ-
ment was quite a bit different
from the crowded hallways.
Other things to do were
going to movies. playing video
games and spending time with
family.
But with the good comes
some bad, like the homework
that sits on the shelf until late
Sunday night.
The only other disadvan-
tage was that Mondays al-
ways followed the weekends.
