worked hard to perfect their performances, so they could
entertain many people over the cou rse of the year. The
Color Guard did routines at football games with the band
while Showcase and Showstoppers sang and performed
at many places around the Omaha area
Pract1c1ng was a big part of the pre -performances .
Color Guard practiced with the band during the morning
before school, on Tuesday nights and Saturday
afternoon. Rolling out of bed early to practice was also

required for Showcase and Showstoppers . They
practiced before school on Tuesday, Wednesday, and
Friday all year.
"We had lots of compet itions dunng the Color
Guard season, and we scored super ior ratings at all of
them. We also made a W1nter Guard group with Ralston
and Millard South," JUnior Jenny Dimbowski said.
Showcase and showstoppers had the opportunity
to perform around Omaha at nursing homes and
hospitals . They also performed 1n fall and hol1day shows
here . Dunng the spring, -they t ook a tnp to Branson, MO
to perform as well.

"Three days after spnng break we went to
Branson , MO to perform and go to workshops with
experienced singers and performers," JUnior Taria
Abrams said.
While Color Guard spent most of the1r time
