Involvement in VIA, MMD and FEA gave students many
opportunities to reach out and lend

mentoring through V!A, MMD and FEA .
Volunteers 1n Action, sponsored by social studies
teacher Lance Ott, gave students the opportunity to
lend a helping hand and give back to the community .
"V!A is a great way to help out the community .
This year we accomplished a lot through blood drives ,
Honey Sunday, and a haunted house," JUnior Christine
True said .
V!A also gave students the chance to have fun
and meet new people .
"V/e gained more members this year which made
for more involvement and more fun," True said.
Mustangs Making a Difference, advised by English
teacher Jenna Jones, was a club devoted to Informing
students about the dangers of drug use.
"M MD IS there to help improve the school atmo-
sphere and make students feel more safe. V/e sponsor
High On Life V/eek, drug awareness speakers and the bully
boxes . ! thin k we have accomplished a lot this year,"
junior Joe Selzle said.
Students interested 1n teaching as a career
could participate 1n FEA, advised by English teacher Carol
Kuhn .
