Students show ustang Pride
Whether it w as standing in the cold during a football
game or dressing up for Class Calor Day, students took different
approaches to show their support
"To show my support, I not only participate in
extracurricular activities, but I attend as many sporting events as I
can. I try to get out and see my friends play," senior Kyle
Bender said
Besides showing their support, students showed that
Mustang pride rested deep in their hearts. Representing the
blue and green was an honor that students don't take for
granted.
"I like when I'm around other people from different
schools , and I'm wearing my letter jacket and other MN apparel
I love how I can say I'm from MN and not be embarrassed, but
proud of all our accomplishments ," junior Merritt Dietz said
Many reasons contributed to the support and pride
the students expressed. However, Spirit Week was one event
that outdid the rest. With each day came a theme for dress :
Hawaiian, cowboy, class color, army, and Come as You Are.
"My favorite part of Spirit Week is the after school
activities such as the Homecoming pep rally, the football game,
and the dance. But I think the unity and goad, positive vibes of
our senior class really make a difference in school spirit," senior
Bryon Dalton said
Cheerin~ from a packed grandstand, painting their
faces and dressing in class colors, or wearing black boots and
camouflage pants on Army Day, students touted their school
spirit with real pride
Western dJy was the best day ever.
VIe were allowed to wear the most
awesome outfits
and dunng paSSing
penod, my fnend Matt and I staged a
pretend fiSt fight. Plus cowboys are super
coo l, and I w1sh Vlestern Day was every day
