                                                                future. Th e experi ence  of the work field gave  them

                                                                leadership sk ills needed.

                                                                     Students enjoyed that they had  extra money
                                                                to spe nd, for their college  ed ucation, a new car,  or
                                                                music,  and so me just liked having cas h in  their
                                                                pocket.
                                                                     Not only financially,  but soc ially,  jobs  helped
                                                                students  find friends from around the area . Having
                                                                friends  whil e on the job  made  it more bearab le,
                                                                especially when students  had  to work long hours.

                                                                     Most students found it hard  to ba lance  a work
                            'iLAI  ~                            and school sched ule at the sa me time, but managed

                                                                     Overall, the students  were glad  they took the
                                                                job they did  beca use  they  understood how benefi-
                                                                cial all  the aspects  of working were and would be  in
