Bad Habits
Are Hard
to Break
-Jennifer Dewey-
Bad habits were something that every-
one had, no matter how simple, or strange.
They ranged from nail biting to pro- ~~~
crastinating. Many people had similar habits,
but they were so busy with their own to notice
others.
Cracking knuckles was common even
though it was aggravating and bad for the
joints.
Doing too much of something was also
a bad habit. German teacher Duane Johnson
said that "too much snacking " was a bad
habit. Watc hing too much T.V. or talking on
the phone all the time were habits that upset
parents.
Another habit that made parents mad
was when their children left their clothes and
books all over the floor in their bedroom.
Bad habits were also actions that people
did or said. Some people said T m sorry" all
the time or other annoying phrases. Sophomore
Jon VonSeggern said, "My bad habit is that I
hit people when I say 'hi' to them."
To stop biting nails some people kept
fin gernail poli sh on all the time so they would
not be able to bite them off.
Many solutions were thought of to
break habits. Bad habits could be cured, but it
wasn't all that easy.
