Thought
-Jennifer Dewey-
lf you could go back to any day in
your life what would you go back to?
For English teacher Sue Roberts both
happy and sad memories came to mind. She
would go back to her wedding day or the last
day she saw her father alive.
However , for German teacher Duane
Johnson it meant thinking about pleasant
thoughts. He would go back to the first day he
arrived in Germany for the frrst time.
Students had different feelings about
what an important day was. Senior Jaymie
Hughes said, "I would go back to my frrst day
of high school. That way I could relive all of the
fun that I've had in the past four years."
Thoughts even went back to the day
that a person was born so that they could start
all over. It may have been a day last month
when that special person that they had been
admiring fmally asked them out.
Birthdays and holidays that had an
impact on a person also came to mind. Whether
it was a special gift that was received or the last
time a loved one was seen, these days will be
remembered.
A great experience may have come to
mind, and going back to relive that moment
was something that people wanted to do.
