The Boys varsity Golf Team went
undefeated for the whole season with a
record of 9-0 (Divis ion 5-0).
The team's top win was placing
second at Metro where they scored a
low of 302 strokes for the game, which
was only one point above Omaha Burke .
The Junior Varsity had six return-
ing players. This made the team work
well with only five new players. The JV
record for the season was 7-l Their only
loss was against Creighton Prep.
At the Beatrice Invitational the
Mustangs placed first . Later at the
Westside Invitational the Mustangs
place third with a score of 314 . Johnson
and Niemann tied for fifth place, they
each carried a low score of 77 .
The team will be losing four varsity
players for next year. Sen iors Mike
Lam mer and Mike Covington who have
lettered for the last two years and Se-
niors Brian Johnson and Doug Niemann
who have played varsity for the last four
years of high school will put a big whole
in the team.
