From band to DECA, student council to swing choir,
students found that they could make a difference in school
as well as in the community .
Senior FCCLA member Megan SantaMaria partici-
pated in many activities that helped organizations like the
Omaha Food Bank.
\\I like being involved in FCCLA because we get out into
the community, and I have the opportunity to volunteer for
things I probably wouldn't do on my own," SantaMaria said.
VJith so many ways to become active in school, some
found that being involved made it easier to help out.
\\Being one of the officers for DECA this year is a
huge time comm itment. We do fhAndraising for the Muscular
Dystrophy Association by selling shamrocks around St.
Patrick's day. DECA is a great way to meet new people
and be active," senior Julie Rosenbaugh said.
Students were able to make their mark through clubs
by not only helping out at MN, but also within their commu -
nity.
